Hi, my name is Jack Jefferys and this is my blog, on this blog I will be sharing my experiences and tracking my progress along my journey of being a musician, and sharing things that I have learnt along the way. I am currently studying Music Performance at Amersham College, with the aspiration of progressing to working in the Music industry full time. I have always had an interest in Music since a very young age, as I have played the guitar since I was around 6. I always found music fun as it was a way to express myself via an instrument. Since then, i have progressed on the guitar and have now moved onto learning the Piano which is my additional instrument. I love playing the piano as it is a very communal instrument which people all gather around to listen and sing songs for me this is what music is about. Bringing people together to share a moment surrounded by the sounds of music. Since I was around 10 I was in a swing band, we would perform gigs and performances out and about organised by my school music teacher. We would perform well known songs but with a twist. Later on I joined another band of whom I am still with and have performed serveral times with them. We are still in the process at the moment where are are still rehearsing lots to perfect our bond as a group and enhance our performace skills. But stay tuned to see more...

September 2018, I have now started a music performance course at Amersham College and my band and I will be doing performances throughout the year which will all be logged on here and you can follow our journey as a band and me individually to see my progress as an aspiring Musician.
