Unit 8 project progress.

As of May 31st, the tech rider has been completed and is ready for the gig. The gig is now just a couple of days away, in terms of organisation and progress we are ready for the gig and everything is going well. In terms of band rehearsals everything is going well, and I look forward to getting back into rehearsals after a week of half term to clean up the songs and refresh them back in my mind. The plan for the next couple of days is to go through the songs and rehearse as a band for the entirety of Monday so that we are as tight and as seamless as possible ready for the gig. Tuesday will be spent doing full dress rehearsals including sound checking and equipment set up. This will help us to iron out any of the mistakes before Wednesday. Tomorrow I will be going to check how many tickets have sold via the college box office and see what the current estimate for people is for the gig. I have written a kit list for what I need to bring with me to the gig and a list of what we need to collect from college so that we are fully prepared for the gig. On the night we are recording the event and I will be bringing my camera to shoot the evening. So that we can watch it back for our evaluation and see what we could’ve improved on. This is also what will go towards our grade and will help us be marked. So far everything is running to plan and I am looking forward to the gig and helping raise money for such a great cause.
