Research and Development of YouTube video.

Today, I have been continuing to dive into my research and expanding on my current knowledge of video construction and production. I have now looked more into lighting and how to lighten a set. From this I have learnt that I will be using a softened and diffused light, to give a soft and even light over the set. By using a harsh light, this can cause heavy shadows and largely blown out parts of the shots. It is also very important to use multiple lights to eliminate shadows from faces. I have also been looking into basic editing skills on Adobe Premiere Pro. This will help when it comes to me editing the video. I have learnt how to get the footage into the timeline and how to match the audio with the footage. I have also learnt how to use picture in picture shots, which is great when showing different angles of the tutorial. For example: showing the fretboard and the picking hand in the other shot.

The next steps, in developing this video is constructing a demo video.
