Rehearsal Update... 15/11/18

Rehearsals 15th November 2018

This weeks rehearsal was the most productive yet! We have now decided on the 4 songs we will be performing at Dukes on the 11th December. Before this rehearsal we had decided on 2 that we were going to do but all agreed we needed more songs to fill in time. The 4 Songs we will be performing are: You Know I’m No Good by Amy Winehouse, Master blaster by Stevie Wonder, Counting Stars by Onerepublic, and Make You Feel My Love, Cover by Adele. (Originally by Bob Dylan) we agreed on the 2 new songs as they were simple songs to play and our vocalist enjoys to sing songs by artists like Adele. During the week between our rehearsals, we have all tried to learn the songs competently so that we are ready for our next rehearsals, were we will hopefully go straight into playing the songs and begin getting the songs seamless and slick so that we are ready for our performance in December. The plan for our upcoming rehearsals is to go through a whole set and rehearse as if we are on stage. We need to rehearse the changes between our songs and make the transitions a lot smoother.

With only 3 rehearsals left before the gig, it is important that we are now not wasting time on learning songs but rehearsing our stage presence and performance.
