Rehearsal 1 and 2: Update...

Thursday 13th September 2018, today is our first rehearsals as a new band and it went very well. During our first rehearsals we all discussed our personal music interests and gauged what genre of Music we would like to create as a band and our targets of creating as a band. As a first song we decided to do a Amy Winehouse song, called 'You Know I'm No Good' as it was a song best suited to our vocalists range, and as the piano player I was happy to play it, likewise for our guitarist. From our first rehearsal we have learnt a lot about each others playing styles and capabilities, along with each others hopes and aspirations. We then continued to practice this song for the duration of the rehearsal session. We also continued during most of our second rehearsal session on Thursday 20th September 2018 to perfect the performance of the song. Before the end of the 2nd rehearsal we decided to move onto deciding a second song for us to rehearse which we decided would be a song by Zoology called ' 100 Degrees' which is discussed could best suit our guitarist as it has very prominant guitar parts through the duration of the song. On the keys I will just fill in the sound will some synth sounds to give the sound a more full and richer tone. We will then have a bassist outlining the bass line and the vocalist singing the melody. We are still to do a full run through of the song which we will do during our 3rd rehearsal session on the 27th of September.
