Last Band rehearsal before Half Term

Today we spent the rehearsals, practicing, and going over the songs. To ensure that they are as seamless as possible. Today we went through the whole set 3 times and focused on ‘My Hero’ and ‘Deadliest Catch’ to make sure they at the same level as the others. Today we practiced using the mixer, the XR18. The mixer that we will be using for the gig. We did this to ensure that we know exactly how we will use it on the day of the gig and that we are confident with it. Our sound tech, Tom will we doing all the mixing and tech for the evening and will be in charge of the XR18. This rehearsal was mainly for him to get more confident with the set up so the night runs smoothly as possible. It is now half term and we have only 2 more rehearsals before the gig. Both the Monday and the Tuesday after half term. We will then do a complete run-through of the gig on the Tuesday so that everyone knows exactly where they have to be at the right time. For the half term, I will be practicing my parts to the songs and continuing to do my write up about my unit 8 project. So that I am as ready as I can be for the gig on June 5th.
