Today, The unit 9 Video is due. I have saved the video and exported the video into an MP4 video. I will be uploading the video, this afternoon, for marking. This will help me when it comes to writing my evaluation. For my evaluation I will be writing it using multiple sources to construct it. Firstly I will be writing a self assessment of how I feel the video went and what I could do to improve it. Secondly, I will be doing a teacher assessment, which will be completed by my teacher. Lastly, I will be showing the video to someone who is a beginner musician and get them to watch the video and see what they say could've been improved. I will then use this to construct my evaluation. At the moment I am working on my Self assessment. This is due when we get back from half term.

This is an extract from my evaluation so far.

"Now that I have watched the video back after it has been completed I have noticed a few things that could’ve been changed to make the overall video better. Firstly, If I was to shoot the video again, I would try and make the video longer and go into more detail about explaining the topic. This will make the video, easy to understand and more effective in teaching beginner musicians. I would also like to include more shots, perhaps a top down shot of a whiteboard to help explain the topic of major scales. This would help me make the video more approachable for beginners.

If I was to shoot this video again I would use multiple camera angles during the same shoot. This would help with timing. This would help to eliminate the chops and changes with the PIP shot."
