Exploring a new Band...

Moving bands again... January term started with a quick band change where we all changed bands to work with different people and try and create new music and see what we can learn from each other. In my new band at the moment we have 2 Guitarists and 2 Pianists. this is a new concept for me as I have never played along side another pianist. Having 2 guitarists is a common concept as you have one person playing rhythm and the other playing lead guitar and solos. Whereas you would normally only have one pianist to fill in the higher mid frequencies to make the sound more full and enjoyable.

During our first rehearsals, we started constructing our own composition and writing our own music. Our rehearsal was very productive and we used the time we had effectively to produce the beginning of our own composition.
