Context Project Band Rehearsals.

Today’s rehearsals were spent rehearsing the song ‘So Far Away’ this was the first time we have played the song with a vocalist. Considering it was our first time playing with a vocalist it went we, although there is still some neatening to the song that could be made to make it sound tighter. For this song I am not playing as there is already a pianist playing and 3 guitarists. So my skills set is not required for this song. While they were playing this song. I spent the time rehearsing ‘Goodnight Saigon’ which is the song I have chosen to play. The current arrangement of this song that I am going to play is me on an Acoustic guitar, somebody on piano and a vocalist outlining the top line melody. Now I have been rehearsing this song for a while the chord changes are getting a lot easier and faster. The chord progression for this song uses a lot of slash chords, which can make the changes slightly more challenging.
